Germany's best health insurance
For the forth time running in a nationwide comparison of health insurance funds TK has been selected by Focus Money as Germany’s best statutory health insurance.
TK was and still is Germany's best health insurance fund - this is the result of the large "GKV-Check", conducted by the business magazine Focus-Money (issue 47/2009) and the independent information service www.gesetzlichekrankenkassen.de.
Round about 140 health insurance funds were tested and for the fourth time running TK got the highest results when adding up all category rankings. Newly introduced categories this year were "transparency" and "complementary insurances". Following categories were considered in particular:
number of agencys
telefone hotline
optional plans
bonus and advantage programmes
natural medicine therapies
special ambulatory care
integrated coordinated care
additional benefits
health promotion
transparency
complementary insurances
TK ranked especially high in the categories "optional plans", "special ambulatory care" and "integrated coordinated care". High scores were also granted for "telefone hotline", "additional benefits" and "transparency".
TK is not just better than average, it’s also one of the largest German health insurance funds with over 5.2 million members and 7.3 million insurants. And TK continues to grow! Every day more than 2,000 people choose in favour of Germany’s best health insurance fund.
Switch to the test winner – certainly the right decision.
